Oùcécap’s take
Ljubljana and Prague are due north of Valletta, on the same meridian: from either city, simply aim due south to find Malta’s capital. From London, aim south-east, at 141°, 2,088 km away. From New York, a flat map would put it due east (94°); the compass corrects that to 62°, north-east. A distant landmark: Tokyo and Tehran share its latitude.
