What Oùcécap collects, why, where it is stored and how to delete it.

Who is responsible
Killian Balluais, sole trader, publisher of Oùcécap. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
In Crew mode: no account. In Solo mode: an account identifier (anonymous for your first stopover, then linked to Sign in with Apple to keep your logbook), your username and colour, your stopovers and aims, your logbook, your friends, your in-app purchases and your notification choices.
Your public profile
Your username, colour, points, rank and the destinations you have found make up your public profile. Other players see it in the app; anyone you send your referral link to (oucecap.com/u/your-username) also sees it on this website, where it is not indexed by search engines. Never your origins or your location.
Your location
Your location is used to compute the bearing to the destination, on your phone. It is never sent precisely: in Solo mode, only a rounded position and the name of the locality are stored, to count your origins.
Anonymous statistics
To improve the game, the app sends a few anonymous statistics. For a Crew game, when it starts and when it ends: the map, the number of players and rounds, the weather setting, the gaps and the duration. For a notification scheduled or tapped: its type and the text variant. Never the names typed in, your location or your account. They go through our server, which passes them on to OpenPanel, hosted in Germany, without your IP address.
Notifications
Only if you allow them. Stopovers ready and Crew evenings are scheduled by the app, on your phone. The others (friend invitations, your Fleet, referrals, weekly recap, new maps) are sent by our server through Apple’s notification service: for this, we keep your phone’s notification token, with its language and time zone, so we can write to you in your language and at the right time. You choose which ones you get in the app’s Settings. The token stops being used when you sign out; it is erased when you delete your account.
Where your data lives
On Supabase servers in the European Union (Frankfurt).
How long
As long as your account exists. When you delete it, your personal data is erased or irreversibly anonymised: username, Apple identifier, email and the places you aimed from. Your games remain in our statistics, with no remaining link to you. An account linked to Apple and inactive for 24 months is anonymised the same way. An anonymous account, with no username or Apple identifier, stays playable for as long as your phone keeps it.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability: from the app (export and delete) or by email. You can also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL).
This website
No cookies, no banner. Traffic is measured anonymously with OpenPanel, hosted in Germany: pages viewed, referrer, country, device type and clicks to the App Store — no cookies and no tracking across sites. The language comes from the page address: nothing is kept in your browser.
