Oùcécap’s take
Set off due north from Rabat and, 2,148 km later, you reach Dublin: 1° on the compass. Ireland’s capital also shares its latitude with Minsk. From London, aim north-west, at 298°, for just 462 km. From New York, a flat map would send you east, at 75°, while the compass says 50°, north-east, because the shortest route passes over Newfoundland.
