Oùcécap’s take
Kinshasa and Brazzaville face each other across the Congo River, less than 10 km apart. From London, aim south, at 162°, for 6,380 km. A curiosity: New York and Montreal are both 10,264 km from Kinshasa, and from both the compass shows the same bearing, 94°, due east, where a flat map would say south-east.
