Situated along the Hrazdan River, Yerevan is the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre of the country, as its primate city. Oùcécap’s take
Yerevan lies on the latitude of Madrid, Beijing and New York. From New York, a flat map would therefore have you aim due east (90°); the compass says 43°, north-east. From London, it is the compass that points due east, at 93°, 3,614 km away, while the map would say 110°. A landmark: Tbilisi is to the north, 173 km away.
