Oùcécap’s take
Montevideo catches flat maps out when seen from Saint-Denis, on Réunion: they would aim west, at 262°, while the compass says 230°, south-west, because the shortest route passes off South Africa and crosses the South Atlantic. From London, aim south-west, at 224°, 11,045 km away. And Montevideo’s antipode lies 415 km from Seoul.
