Oùcécap’s take
With Lusaka, flat maps go wrong mainly when seen from America: from Montreal, a flat map would have you aim south-east, at 123°, while the compass says 93°, due east. From London, aim south-east, at 151°, 7,934 km away. A thread to follow: Lusaka is due south of Minsk, on almost the same meridian, and on the same latitude as Brasília.
